Lift Up My Eyes

                                                                                               ISAIAH 24

The City of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in. There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone. In the City is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.

When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done. They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the Creator, they shall cry aloud from the Sea.

Wherefore glorify the Creator in the fires, even the name of the Lord of Israel in the Islands of the Sea. From the uttermost part of the Earth have we heard songs, even glory to the Righteous.

I pine away, I pine away, woe is I! The treacherous have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous have dealt very treacherously. Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon you, O inhabitant of the Earth.

And it shall come to pass, that he who flee from the noise of the fear (Corona Virus) shall fall into the pit; and he that come up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows on high are opened, and the foundations of the Earth tremble.

The Earth is utterly broken, the Earth is rent asunder, the Earth is shaken violently. The Earth shall stagger like a drunken man, and shall sway to and fro like a hammock; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it, and it shall fall, and not rise again.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Creator will punish the host of the high ones on high, and the leaders of the Earth. And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison; and after many days shall they be visited. Then the Moon shall be confounded, and the Sun ashamed; for Creator of hosts will reign in Mount Zion, and in Jahrusalem; and before His Elders shall be glory.

REVELATION 18

And a strong Angel took up a stone as it were a great millstone and cast it into the Sea, saying, Thus with a mighty fall shall Babylon, the Great City, be cast down, and shall be found no more at all.

And the voice of harpers and minstrels and flute-players and trumpeters shall be heard no more at all in her; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft, shall be found any more at all in her; and the voice of a mill shall be heard no more at all in her; and the light of a lamp shall shine no more at all in her; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in her:

The merchants were the princes of the Earth; for with thy sorcery were all the Nations deceived. And in her was found the blood of Prophets and of Saints, and of all that have been slain upon the Earth.
