Two Wars that began on I Earth-day February 24th. The Ground War in Iraq and the Ukrane War with Russia.
The Creator used Assyria to punish Israel (722); then he use Babylon to punish Assyria and Judah. This prophecy would be fulfilled several decades after Habakkuk, in 586. The “theme question” of Habakkuk is, how can the Creator use a wicked Nations such as Babylon for his divine purpose? The Creator judges all Nations, said Habakkuk, and even Babylon would eventually be judged. Babylon fell to Persia in 539.
(Spirit of Truth) Babylon would rise up again in the West to conquer Land that was not given to them, and would fall to a rebelious Queen in the Revolutionary War of America to become Babylon the Great. In the Book of Esther she Liberated herself from the King, and was supported by those who helped her in rebellion, those whom she offered her services to. This History is written in the Book of Esther, where the King wrote an Edict against her and sealed it with his seal.
(Esther 1) This deed of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, the king Ahasuerus Commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, and she came not. Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto all the king's princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath.
If it please the king, let there be a royal commandment written, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, that Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she. And when the king's decree, which he shall make is published throughout all his Empire, (for it is great,) all the wives shall give to their husbands honor, both to great and small.
This saying pleased the king and the princes; and he did according to the word of Memucan: He sent letters into all the king's provinces, into every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language, that every man should bear rule in his own house, and that it should be published according to the language of every people.
(Spirit of Truth) Babylon fell to Persia in 539, and rose up again in the West and fell to a queen in the Revolutionary War of America. Vashti, who in rebellion was forgotten, is now brought back to remembrance, and her Judgment is now being fulfilled and written in the Book of Revelation 17 and 18. If you add a 1,000 years to 539 it becomes 1539.
Events that took place in 1539 The treaty comes after Henry VIII of England's split with Rome and Pope Paul III. January 14 – Spain annexes Cuba. February 9th, The first horse race is held at Chester Racecourse, the oldest in use in England. March – Canterbury Cathedral surrenders, and reverts to its previous status of 'a college of secular canons'.
Though God’s ways are sometimes mysterious, “the righteous shall live by his faith” (2:4) while awaiting salvation. These words are quoted three times in the New Testament (Rom. 1:17; Gal. 3:11; Heb. 10:38).
The Burden which Habakkuk the Prophet did see.
How long shall I cry, and you wilt not hear? I cry out of violence, and You wilt not save. Why do You show I iniquity, and look upon perverseness? for destruction and violence are before I; Strife, and contention have risen up. Therefore the Law is slacked, and Justice never go forth;
The wicked compass the righteous; therefore Justice is perverted. Behold you among the Nations, and look, and wonder marvellously; for I am working a work in your days, which you will not believe though it be told you. I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty Nation, that march through the breadth of the Earth, to possess dwelling-places that are not theirs.
They are terrible and dreadful; their judgment and their dignity proceed from themselves. Their horses also are swifter than leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves; and their horsemen press proudly on: Their horsemen come from far; they fly as an Eagle that hasteth to devour.
They come all of them for violence; they set their faces forward; and gather captives as the sand. They scoff at the king, and the prince are a derision unto them. They deride every stronghold; for they heap up dust, and take it. Then shall they sweep by as a wind, and shall pass over, guilty men whose might is his god.
Are You not from everlasting, O I Creator I Holy One? we shall not die. You has ordained them for judgment; and You, O I Rock, hast established them for correction. You that is of purer eyes than to behold evil, and that cannot look on perverseness, why look upon them that deal treacherously, and hold Your peace when the wicked swallow the man that is more righteous than he; and make men as the fishes of the Sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?
He take up all of them with the angle, he catch them in his net, and gathereth them in his drag: therefore he rejoiceth and is glad. Therefore he sacrifice unto his net, and burn incense unto his drag; because by them his portion is fat, and his food plenteous. Shall they therefore empty their net, and spare not to slay the Nations continually?
